The buildings are designed to a high level of finishes to reflect the standard of the products produced by the farm, and to complement the rural character of the area.

The buildings incorporate coloured rendered concrete for the external walls and metal roofing and cladding. The cellar door facility is constructed with timber floors and ceilings and utilises robust columns and beams made from recycled hardwoods.

The building is designed as a single storey structure accentuating the horizontal and stepping to follow the contours of the land. Heavy traffic external manoeuvring areas are paved in coloured concrete to blend in with the landscape otherwise gravel paving is used to maintain the natural landscape.

Colours and textures are in keeping with the character of traditional rural buildings and low skillion roofs with large overhangs keep the buildings firmly grounded.

Water recycling and on site sewerage treatment systems are incorporated into the design as well as roof solar panels to maximise sustainability.
